How long is each session?
Each session is allotted 53 minutes. Should you need additional time, the we will work together to reach a mutually agreed upon length of time.
How much does a session cost?
The initial/first individual teletherapy session costs $160
An out of pocket individual teletherapy session costs $140
If you have a health insurance policy, it will usually provide some coverage for behavioral mental health services. I am in-network with Aetna, Oscar, Oxford, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and United Health Care insurance.
If you’re unsure about your network benefits, please contact your insurance company and ask about whether or not they offer reimbursement for behavioral health, at what percentage, and whether you need to reach a deductible first. A superbill can be provided upon request, but it is not guaranteed your insurance company will reimburse you. It will be the responsibility of the client to ensure services are covered.
What can I expect?
The first/initial session can last anywhere from 30-90 minutes and involves and intoduction of who you are and what you are wanting from therapy. We will work together in building goals you would like to accomplish in our therapy sessions
After the first/initial session, we will schedule an appointment for therapy. Based on level of care needed, therapy can be weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. It will be based upon your needs, and may fluctuate from session to session.
What If I need to cancel or I miss an appointment?
Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule/cancel a session to prevent any no show or late cancelation fee.
If you do not show up at your regularly scheduled appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for your session.
